First tourist-y stop is a lighthouse on the northwest corner of Aruba. Just realized I didn’t take a picture of the lighthouse itself, but I got a few shots of the view from that area. A local was there giving timeshare tickets, but when we told him we were on the ship, he realized we wouldn’t have time to hear a spiel and then dropped the commercialism. He explained what we were seeing all around us, and said that the past 3 days had been “very bad weather.” No rain, but strong winds from Hurricane Dean, and 10 meter (yes, 10 meter) waves.
