Birds in Aruba
There were also some very cool birds around: a few mockingbirds, several green parrots (like we saw in San Juan), and this orange and black oriole. The oriole was whistling a very loud song and I swore it was a person whistling until I actually saw him singing. Both the parrots and the oriole kept munching off some ball-like formations on the cactus plants. Back home, orioles eat bugs, so I wonder what those balls contained . . . probably not something I would spread on toast . . .
