Day Three: Aruba Island

Okay, feeling spoiled now. I really can’t think of an entire time in my life when I truly and honestly felt spoiled. I see why cruise vacations are so popular. I want to go again. Despite the intense heat, I want to go again.

We arrived in Aruba long before I was awake, and I got out of bed at 7:20am. (By the way, the beds on this ship are surprisingly comfy.) Nice warm shower, and sit down to do some more blog writing. Unfortunately, the internet has been down for a while now, so once I’m able to get online, there will be a lot O stuff posted!

Sharon, my ex-sis-in-law and Caitlin’s mom, and our Cruise Director for this trip, calls earlier than expected. She and Mark are awake and ready for breakfast, so in 10 minutes we all head up for another breakfast food-a-thon. I gotta tell ya, the scrambled eggs here are just amazing. Then back to the room, and grab everything we could possibly need before we head down to Deck One for disembarkation.

This is our first island stop, and before we get off the ship, we go up to the top deck to take pictures. That candy-pink monstrosity is a shopping mall in the downtown area. From the deck, we also have a great view of this beautiful banana-topped bus.
